Job Title: Sales Coordinator/Business Developer:

 

The qualified individual will be passionate about advancing opportunities for creating New Business. 
Our company, Shafer Productions, Inc. Creative Services specializes in providing graphic design services, PowerPoint presentations, poster presentation design and marketing collateral, including printing, to the Biotech, Pharmaceutical and Healthcare industries.  For this role our organization needs an individual who is willing to spend time researching targeted companies, identifying decision-makers for marketing support services, and creating opportunities to meet with and discover needs prospects have for our service and products. Building rapport will be essential; to do that, presenting yourself as a professional instead of as a typical sales person is essential.

 

Primary Duties include:

 

  • Identify prospective clients by building or finding lists of target companies
  • Create a prospecting plan that can be worked, tracked and measured for success
  • Develop Rapport with Decision Makers by calling or marketing directly to these individuals
  • Qualify prospects by asking specific questions to identify their PAINful need for our service and product
  • Complete up to 60 contacts a week via phone or email with a purpose to schedule 2 qualified appointments a week
  • Keep a journal of daily activities and present brief summary
  • Share activities and conduct weekly meetings to plan success strategies and challenge management
  • Assist and/or conduct sales meetings when required
  • Manage a detailed pipeline
  • Promptly take and return calls to prospects with any item pertaining to the above process

A Bachelorís degree or greater in business management or equivalent experience is prefered, a willingness to work with a team and the ability to create new business is required. (At least 3 years of proven sales success is a MUST) Part time hours are available to start with a movement toward full-time if success is apparent. Compensation is a base plus commission structure. Salary expectations should be from 30k to 40k in the first year with goals to improve that outcome annually.

 

Key Accountabilities:

 

  1. Completes a minimum of 60 contacts a week, measured by completed journals of activity.  Criteria for a successful activity is measured by dials, talks, emails, and appointments set and should ultimately result in 2 qualified scheduled and held appointments 90% of the time.  (40%)
  2. Build rapport with decision makers during phone calls, measured by favorable feedback from clients at appointments 100% of the time.  (25%)
  3. Displays good communication skills verbally, in written form and outward appearance, measured by observation, grammatically correct written correspondence, professional attire and a favorable feedback from prospects 100% of the time.  (15%)
  4. Exhibits a consistent work ethic measured by being to work at an agreed to time and meeting predetermined deadlines and activity management 90% of the time.  (10%)
  5. Provides daily and/or weekly verbal and/or written feedback with activities completed, and brainstorms success strategies and challenge management with Steve without being asked for this information 100% of the time.  (10%)

Job Title: Channel Manager

Description: This position is critical to the development and successful implementation of our client's Channel Program for a new family of products that the company is introducing. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years experience in managing a channel program in the enterprise software space, and will have demonstrated the ability to expand and improve the program over time to ensure continued growth and productivity. Additionally, the candidate will have experience in product marketing and messaging in the Network Management and/or Security space. Outstanding communication skills - both verbal and written - are a must. The individual will report directly to the VP of Channel Sales.

 

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a 'single point of contact' with new and existing resellers to drive reseller productivity and ensure seamless communication with our client's team
  • Recruit new channel partners within a defined area
  • Develop and manage co-marketing programs with new and existing resellers, such as coordinating activities and events, email blasts, PR/media relations, customer success stories, etc.
  • Interact and coordinate with our client's sales organization to facilitate and drive reseller recruiting and, as required, end-user sales activity
  • Ensure new resellers receive both technical and marketing/sales training; work with appropriate internal teams to continuously improve and expand the training programs
  • Create sales and marketing tools/materials as required
  • Coordinate and monitor reseller MDF to ensure usage
  • Create and disseminate a periodic channel-directed newsletter
  • Create and execute marketing/sales promotions aimed at channel partner recruitment and partner productivity
  • Drive PR activities for our client to demonstrte the company's ongoing dedication to and expansion of the channel
  • Maintain and update the 'Partner" section of the company's website including administration of partner ID/passwords
  • Drive end-user demand generation activities

Requisites: Proficient skill level with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, desktop publishing, web content management system. College degree.
